Danyelle Speaks

BIO

For this woman of God, music and preaching have grown to exist in perfect harmony. Coming from a musical family it was inevitable that her path would lead to music. Her first introduction to instruments came at the age of 8 when she received a guitar. That began the drive to create.  Danyelle’ began officially writing music as a teenager and released her first Jazz CD at age 16. Before graduating High School she majored in both band and orchestra while playing 7 different instruments but was never fully proficient at reading score. That didn’t stop her. She continued writing music and eventually began producing rnb music.

By age 21, she had her first record deal but was left unfulfilled and challenged. This style of  music was pulling her away from where God was leading her which was preaching and music that uplifts the Kingdom. As an extreme introvert her fear of singing in public began to take it’s toll. When the music deal was canceled she was faced with a crossroads. Keep going or stop. She quit. Through it all the Lord kept calling her not only to music HIS way but to ministry. After losing the record deal she began seeking God for direction and finally accepted her calling of preacher. Danyelle’ was ordained in 2010 as an Minister and decided instead of seeking another record deal, she would continue her pursuit in the industry as an Indie Artist. Since then she has released 3 full length CD’s, numerous collabs with great reviews and continues to travel both preaching and singing the word of God.

In 2019, in efforts to pursue another passion of hers, she became the co owner of a production company named Brown Sugar In Your Coffee LLC in which she is the videographer and editor. Her hopes are to one day produce short films for the family. With multiple talents Look out for more to come from this artist and minister.
